Andhra Pradesh on the south east coast of India was battered by floods, leaving many families homeless in September 2009.

Rockwell Collins in India made a difference by voluntarily contributing 21,000 INR (Indian Rupees) toward supporting the affected families. The money raised was given to the Deccan Chronicle-CM Fund for Flood Relief, a fund established by the Deccan Chronicle, a local Hyderabad newspaper.

This was the first initiative by Rockwell Collins India under the SAHAYAM (corporate social responsibility group) created by our India Design Center employees.
