ARINC Voice Service

When voice communications is critical, airlines and aircraft operators count on Rockwell Collins to deliver.

Teams of professionals in New York and San Francisco stand ready to connect the far-reaching areas of the world through Rockwell Collins’ long-distance operational control facilities.

Our ARINC Air/Ground International Voice Service  provides high frequency (HF) single-side-band aeronautical operational control (AOC) voice communications for aircraft flying over the Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific oceans; Canadian and Arctic regions; the Gulf of Mexico; and Central and South America.

Aircraft flying over the North America can access our ARINC Air/Ground Domestic Voice Service, with blanket en route coverage above 20,000 feet for overland routes in the United States and Canada and at oceanic gateways along the East, West and Gulf coasts, as well as Hawaii.

We provide the aeronautical industry's air/ground voice communications link for AOC messages. Our service is backed by 45 years of experience and a network of 124 Rockwell Collins-operated, very high frequency (VHF) radio stations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Using our voice services, aircrews and ground operations can readily communicate:
  • Operational control and flight information
  • Aircraft malfunctions and emergencies
  • In-flight medical assistance
  • Weather and destination airport information
  • Aircraft diversions
