FIRST Grants

Collins Aerospace and United Technologies Corp. (UTC) have been longtime strategic sponsors of For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST®), contributing more than $20 million over 25 years.

FIRST is our largest science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) partner. Increasing the number of students who participate in FIRST LEGO® League, Jr., FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition, we can further our goals to:

  • Create access to STEM curricula for students in underrepresented populations
  • Introduce students ages 5-12 to STEM disciplines
  • Provide opportunities for students to learn skills that are essential for our future workforce
