Forbes magazine has once again ranked Rockwell Collins among America’s 500 Best Large Employers of 2016. The company is listed as number 78, an improvement of 18 spots from 2015. Rockwell Collins also is listed as the No. 2 employer in the U.S. Aerospace and Defense industry.

Rockwell Collins recognized for excellent in-service performance by Airbus

Rockwell Collins has been recognized by Airbus for its excellent in-service performance as a Cabin Supplier of Buyer-Furnished Equipment in 2015. The awards were handed out on April 5th, opening day of the 2016 Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany.

Rockwell Collins' employees honored with the Patriot Award

It wasn’t long after Joy Christian joined Rockwell Collins in December of 2014 that she was deployed as part of her duties as a Petty Officer First Class in the U.S. Navy Reserve. The senior service center technician — based out of Rockwell Collins' Atlanta, Georgia, facility — said that deployment taught her a lot about her new company and her managers.

Rockwell Collins’ Director of Navy Programs in the Washington Operations office, Jeff "JD" Davis, is a recently retired Naval Aviator who served our country for 29 years. Davis flew over 200 combat missions in places like Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia and Kosovo, achieving 4,500 hours and 1,000 arrested landings in carrier-based aircraft including the A-6E, F-14, E-2C/D, and the F-18D, F/G.
