Hard work, dedication and attention to detail have earned Rockwell Collins the 2016 Partner of the Year award from Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation for our work on the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ).

The award — the only Partner of the Year award presented this year by Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation — was given to our team in Seattle, Washington, on Oct. 5, 2016. Our team’s ability to work collaboratively and keep the end-goal in sight helped earn the recognition.

Tim Isenberg, principal program manager of MRJ Avionics, said this award is a testament to the team’s focus on delivering value to our customer. “We have earned the respect and trust of Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation over the program’s eight-year history,” said Isenberg. “Our team does a fantastic job of listening to the customer and delivering on our commitments.”

The MRJ program includes contributions from several Rockwell Collins locations including Irvine, California; Melbourne, Florida; Nagoya, Japan; Moses Lake, Washington; and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The MRJ made its first flight in November 2015, and flight testing is ongoing in Moses Lake, Washington and Japan. In addition to this award, our company was also named a top-performing supplier by a number of other airlines and customers, including Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier earlier this year.
