There’s nothing ‘standard’ about our appreciation for StandardAero

When saying “thank you” doesn’t seem like enough, how else can you show your appreciation? By serving lunch to 200 people, of course! On March 14, Rockwell Collins sponsored a barbecue-themed appreciation lunch for the employees of StandardAero service center in Springfield, Illinois, in recognition of their outstanding sales record for Rockwell Collins’ Venue™ cabin management system.

Rockwell Collins has a long working relationship with a number of StandardAero’s service centers. But the Springfield employees have a comprehensive Venue product knowledge and numerous installation successes to go along with it ﹘ including wrapping up a Venue installation on a Dassault Falcon 7X as the luncheon was underway. Also completed the same week was an avionics upgrade from Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4™ to Pro Line 21™ on a Dassault Falcon 2000. In fact, StandardAero has completed more Pro Line 21 retrofits than any other dealer.

“As an Authorized Rockwell Collins Dealer, StandardAero continues to excel and proliferate the Venue brand through its top-of-the-line installation work,” said Louis Brunet, director of Business Development for Rockwell Collins. “We wanted to express our appreciation to StandardAero for its value-added services provided to both us and aircraft operators.”

In addition to its work installing our Cabin and Avionics products, StandardAero also provides seats and lights through our Interior Systems business, as well being a top selling Dealer for our Corporate Aircraft Service Program (CASPSM).

Joining StandardAero’s employees for lunch were a half dozen Rockwell Collins leadership team members from Marketing to Sales to Engineering who were anxious to share their appreciation one on one.

“Our employees work hard every day to meet customer needs,” said James Campbell, vice president and general manager of StandardAero’s Springfield location. “It was great that Rockwell Collins recognized their efforts not just with words, but by hosting lunch for everyone.”

StandardAero is one of the world’s largest independent providers of services, including engine and airframe maintenance, repair and overhaul, engine component repair, engineering services, interior completions and paint applications. StandardAero serves a diverse array of customers in business and general aviation, airline, military, helicopter, components and energy markets. The company celebrated its 100th year of industry leadership in 2011.
