Rockwell Collins to provide assistance to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey

More than 200 of Rockwell Collins’ employees are based in Houston, Texas — the site of catastrophic flooding following the landfall of Hurricane Harvey this past weekend. While the company’s facility in Houston was able to remain in operation, several of its employees were directly impacted by the flood.

Rockwell Collins is offering a variety of assistance programs to help those employees during this difficult time. The company will also make a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross’ Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort.

“The safety and well-being of our employees is always our number one concern,” said Jeff Standerski, senior vice president, Human Resources for Rockwell Collins. “We appreciate everyone’s generosity, cooperation and flexibility as we work to help our colleagues as best we can.”

Individuals who want to help provide assistance are also asked to consider making a financial donation to the Red Cross or sign up as a Red Cross volunteer.
