Dave Lenz’s interest in flying began as a child from talking to pilots when they stayed at his parents’ motel near a guard base in Wisconsin. He pursued his interest and continued on to receive his wings in the U.S. Air Force and later returned to the Air National Guard to fly.

Now, Lenz is the owner and pilot of a Cessna Citation CJ3 and he recently participated in an early adopter upgrade program for Pro Line FusionⓇ integrated avionics. Lenz knew he’d need to upgrade the avionics on his CJ3 to meet upcoming mandates, including being ADS-B equipped by 2020. Based on his past experience with Rockwell Collins, he chose Pro Line Fusion as the best upgrade path and became the launch customer for the program.

Rockwell Collins, in conjunction with Duncan Aviation and Textron, brought the upgrades to market, taking flight deck avionics to the next level for CJ3 owners. From touch-screen navigation to eyes-forward graphical control, Pro Line Fusion is providing Lenz with a complete approach to airspace modernization and situational awareness.

Watch the video below to learn more about the program and the modernized, improved flight experience.
