Rockwell Collins’ international trip planning retains top ranking in Professional Pilot magazine survey

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Apr. 23, 2014) For the second year in a row, Rockwell Collins has received the top ranking in Professional Pilot magazine’s annual PRASE (Preferences Regarding Aviation Services and Equipment) Survey for “Best International Trip Planning.”  Rockwell Collins’ Ascend International Trip Support was ranked No. 1 in this category as a result of a survey completed by more than 2,800 of the magazine’s subscribers.

Rockwell Collins’ ARINC Direct business aviation solutions, which became part of the company through Rockwell Collins’ December 2013 acquisition of ARINC Incorporated, also received high marks for its international trip planning from Professional Pilot subscribers by achieving the No. 2 ranking in the same category.

“We sincerely appreciate the recognition from Pro Pilot’s readership, with the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the category,” said Dave Poltorak, vice president, Aviation and Network Services for Rockwell Collins. “As we pursue the integration of these two industry leaders, we are very excited to make every aspect of our customers’ flight operations management—from international trip support to best-in-class flight planning—even easier from anywhere in the world.”
