Part Task Trainer (PTT)

Overview

The Rockwell Collins Part Task Trainer (PTT) is a cost effective training aid in support of flight crews using newly purchased, recently upgraded or existing aircraft using Rockwell Collins avionics. Our PTTs provide a lower cost solution in recurrent and initial training needs by avionics and cockpit familiarization and differences training, avionics procedures, maintenance training and basic flight operation.

Using actual avionics software, the PTTs match the fidelity and performance of the avionics in operation, while complementing a full training curriculum of instructor-led and computer based training. PTTs range from stand-alone software applications (Virtual Avionics FMS and MDC desktop trainers) to more enhanced desk top trainers to Virtual Avionics Procedure Trainers (VAPT) representing the entire cockpit layout. PTTs can also integrate with actual avionics hardware to further enhance training.
