The Rockwell Collins EP®-8000 image generator system introduces a new paradigm for high-end training applications. Main Components

System configurations vary greatly based on program requirements. A typical three channel system for commercial full flight simulators consists of one 28U rack which contains one real-time computer and three scene processors, along with a power distribution unit, an Ethernet switch and associated cables. Multiple scene processors per channel can be used to drive ultra-high resolution display formats.
