SAR-126 VHF Direction Finder

597-2253-001

Overview

When it comes to search-and-rescue missions, your direction finder is crucial. Trust the most advanced stand-alone Search and Rescue Very High Frequency (SAR VHF) direction finder – the SAR-126 from Rockwell Collins. Our newest direction finder, the SAR-126 features an embedded synthesized receiver that provides the capability to autonomously cover the commercial airborne and maritime VHF band (108 to 174 MHz) and Cospas Sarsat signal – without an external receiver.

Built for use in both commercial and civil SAR platforms, the BC-126 control unit allows selection of the desired frequency or SAR or SCAN modes to operate the distress frequencies automatically. In addition, the SAR-126 is a fully solid-state system. The antenna unit embeds a synthesized receiver within a watertight package for easy integration.
