Rockwell Collins was selected to perform the first Delivery Order to be awarded under the STRICOM Omnibus Contract (STOC)
in the Virtual Domain performance area. Rockwell Collins delivered a new "Panoramic" visual display for the 160th Special
Operations Aviation Regiment located at Fort Campbell, Ky. The new display was installed on the Special Operations Aviation
Combat Mission Simulator (SOA CMS) as part of the MH-60K Visual Display System (VDS) Replacement Block Update XA (SBUD XA).
This award was the first U.S. Army task related contract for Rockwell Collins.
Rockwell Collins competed and was selected for a position on the STOC contract vehicle in January 2001. The STOC Contract
enables a mechanism for the Army to quickly order Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity training supplies and services.
STOC provides for an eight-year period of performance for concept exploration, development, production, and interim contractor
support of systems throughout STRICOM's US Army business areas.
