The Rockwell Collins Falcon 2000 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) was qualified on February 27, 2003 at the SimuFlite Training Facility in Dallas/Ft Worth Airport, Texas. This device is the fourth of five to be delivered to SimuFlite. The Simulation Host software operates under real-time LINUX on a Pentium COTS processor. The Instructor Operator Station software operates under Windows NT 4.0. The visual system for the Falcon 2000 FFS is an Evans and Sutherland 3350GT/SEOS display system. The digital 6-axis motion system is the Thales MK2 and the control loading is Fokker Digital Electric. This Falcon 2000 FFS includes a Heads-Up Guidance System to provide all-weather training on these advanced navigation systems.
