Rockwell Collins Simulation & Training Solutions, formerly NLX, is a training system solution provider whose expertise and capabilities focus on the analysis, design, manufacture, production, deployment, and life-cycle support of advanced operator and maintenance training systems. NLX business strength was derived from an impressive team of managerial and technical professionals whose combined experience covered virtually every facet of aircrew training and mission support systems development and operation for both military and commercial programs.

The original mission for NLX was to provide upgrade and modification services to various military training programs. The company's first contract was in the support of the U.S. Air Force undergraduate pilot training systems. Since then, STS has grown its capabilities towards full scale training system development. Today, coupled with the strength of its parent organization, Rockwell Collins, STS provides seamless integrated avionics solutions concurrent with the aircraft avionics development

Rockwell Collins has successfully delivered full scale commercial training systems to FAA Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS) certifications.

STS currently employs over 800 people in 17 locations around the United States and has a global reach through Rockwell Collins locations. STS is registered as an approved trading partner with the Central Contractor Registration. We are an approved Defense Logistics Services Center (DLSC) supplier and were certified to ISO 9001:2000 in May 2003.
