Leveraging our experience in military Global Positioning Systems (GPS) receivers, the Rockwell Collins Ground-Based GPS Receiver
Application Module (GB-GRAM) is a low-cost, low-power, secure, jam resistant standardized GPS solution that will be used
in communications and weapons platforms across the military. GB-GRAM incorporates the Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing
Module (SAASM) security device and fulfills a NAVSTAR GPS Joint Program Office (JPO) initiative to migrate to an open system
architecture for ground-based embedded military applications. Our GB-GRAM unit is designed for insertion into a variety of
new and legacy platforms, including Land Warrior, Unmanned Systems (US) and Movement Tracking systems.
Under the GB-GRAM program, Rockwell Collins is providing its 12-channel Miniature Precision Lightweight GPS Receiver Engine
SAASM (MPE-S) - a small, third-generation GPS receiver. The
MPE-S offers geolocation and precise positioning capabilities for military navigation, tactical communications, battlefield computing
and other Command, Control, Computers, Communication and Information (C4I) equipment. Additional features include field reprogrammability,
dual frequency, direct-Y acquisition/reacquisition capability and extended jamming protection performance.
Please contact Rockwell Collins for more information.
