Our wireless communications products provide users with internet capabilities for both legacy and current production HF and V/UHF radios. Rockwell Collins' communications and networking systems meet the demands and budgets of commercial and military customers alike.

Rockwell Collins also provides advanced modeling and simulation services to accurately predict both application and network performance. Our system simulations can be tailored specifically to customer requirements and include highly detailed application, network, operational scenario, terrain and propagation effects.  In some cases, real applications and network systems are integrated into the simulation environment. Rockwell Collins also offers services for the design and implementation of models specific to a user's equipment, and can run simulations, validate simulation results in the field and confirm results through simulation. High speed HF/VHF/UHF modems
Our HF/VHF/UHF modems are world-class with top user data rates of 16 kbps/3kHz, 96 kbps/25 kHz and 384 kbps/100kHz (coded). Furthermore, these modems include many advanced features including built-in text chat.

SubNetwork Relay (SNR) Node Controller
The Rockwell Collins SubNetwork Relay (SNR) provides unparalleled mobile ad hoc Internet Protocol (IP) networking with automatic relay using HF/VHF/UHF Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Extreme LOS bearers. The SNR node controller supports the use of standard Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/IP and User Data Protocol (UDP)/IP in radio channels ranging from 3 kHz HF to 25 kHz and100 kHz V/UHF.

Internet Protocol Traffic Manager (IPTM)
IPTM is a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) performance enhancer that drastically improves TCP operation over long latency and high error rate wireless networks. IPTM enables the effective use of TCP over the HF/VHF/UHF radio and satellite networks where it was previously ruled out.
