The B-1B Lancer was developed by Rockwell International, now Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, and is the U.S. Air Force's
long-range strategic bomber. The B-1B has the largest internal payload of any current bomber serving today.
Rockwell Collins offers our experience and expertise in communications, navigation and display solutions for all B-1B aircraft.
We supply the B-1B bomber with our proven AN/ARC-210 Multimode Integrated Communications System. This system provides two-way multimode voice and data communications over Ultra
High Frequency/Very High Frequency (U/VHF) in either normal, secure or jam-resistant modes via Line-of-Sight (LOS) or Satellite Communication (SATCOM) links. For use
in various military airborne applications that employ probe/cap, shunt or wire antennas, we have designed the ARC-190 High
Frequency (HF) communications system. This system is automatically tuned into both the receive and transmit modes. Built-in Test Equipment
(BITE) and modular construction allow rapid fault isolation to the component and module level for quick repair. We also provide
the B-1B bomber with advanced navigation, including the ARN-108 Instrument Landing System (ILS) and the ARN-118 Tactical Air
Navigation (TACAN) system.
