The F-15 Eagle family of fighters is designed to gain and maintain air superiority in aerial combat. The F-15E Strike Eagle derivative is an extremely maneuverable strike fighter, with capabilities for ground attack missions in all-weather conditions, day or night. Both the F-15 Eagle and F-15 Strike Eagle aircraft are in service for the U.S. Air Force and other allied countries. Rockwell Collins provides communications, navigation, displays and data link solutions for both retrofit and newly built F-15 aircraft.

Our AN/ARC-210 Multimode Integrated Communications System provides two-way multimode voice and data communications over Ultra High Frequency/Very High Frequency (U/VHF) in either normal, secure or jam-resistant modes through line-of-sight or Satellite Communications (SATCOM) links. Rockwell Collins provides lightweight systems, such as our HF-9087F and HF-9041F radios, that operate throughout the standard High Frequency (HF) radio spectrum, providing HF communications capability anywhere in the world. Our radios can be updated ensuring a cost-effective and renewable growth path to add emerging waveforms. We also provide advanced navigation systems for the F-15, including the ARN-112 Instrument Landing System (ILS) and the ARN-118 Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN) system.

Rockwell Collins' Head Down Display (HDD) solutions for the F-15 include Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD) flat panel 5x5 and 6x6 multifunction displays. Furthermore, we have been a pioneer with the wide field-of-view holographic Head Up Display (HUD) on the F-15E Strike Eagle. Through our joint venture with Elbit Systems Ltd. of Israel, Vision Systems International (VSI), we also provide the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) display for the platform. Additionally, our joint venture with BAE Systems, Data Link Solutions (DLS), allows us to expand our Network-Centric Operations capabilities to the aircraft with our Fighter Data Link (FDL).
