The VIR-32/33/432/433 is a fully digital NAV receiver that provides all VOR/ILS functions, including localizer, glideslope and marker beacon. To assure optimal performance, the VIR-32/33/432/433 features a single-crystal and simplified frequency conversion. Its digital automatic frequency control (AFC) centers the received signal precisely on the passband for protection against interference.
