Flight Phase Hazard Analysis

Weather-hazard detection tailored to each phase of flight

Weather at low altitude - during climbs and descents and during cruise - presents different threats to the aircraft. Based on the flight plan information contained in the aircraft FMS or autopilot, the MultiScan Hazard Detection Flight Phase Hazard analysis determines the actual weather threat along the aircraft's flight path. The radar tailors its operation based on the aircraft's phase of flight to determine and display the actual weather threat.
