Taking weather radar to the next level
MultiScan's Predictive Overflight Protection further enhances hazard detection capabilities by measuring the storm growth
rate and then making a prediction on whether the storm or the turbulence bubble above a developing storm cell will reach the
aircraft's flight level. The radar will then display the predicted area of turbulence on the radar display to alert the flight
crew of the potential hazard.

Predictive Overflight Protection has determined that the developing storm or its turbulence bubble will intrude on the aircraft's
flight path. The crew takes action to deviate around the storm.
Effects of storm previously identified by Predictive Overflight Protection has reached the aircraft's flight level. Without
Predictive Overflight Protection, this aircraft would have flown into the turbulence above the developing storm.
