Focus on what's important
When it comes to weather radar, there is such a thing as too much information. That's why MultiScan uses the "quiet, dark"
cockpit concept. It displays only weather that is a threat to the aircraft, while removing weather well below the flight altitude
from the display. This enhances pilots' decision-making abilities, providing them the information necessary to assess the
weather situation without confusing them with data below their flight level.
Significant weather display means only the weather that matters. MultiScan detects all the weather in front of the aircraft, but only displays weather along the aircraft flight path.
In the clip, you can see how MultiScan simplifies the weather radar display by showing only the weather that is significant to the aircraft.
