The F-16 Simulator Solid State HUD is an electro-optical system designed for airborne simulation and training applications. The VIM HUD uses patented VIM (Visual Immersion Module).

The F-16 Block 30 HUD simulator uses patented VIM technology to achieve the performance necessary for an F-16 simulator environment while accommodating its ancillary electronics. The design does all of this and also reduces cost and weight. Optically, the display unit closely simulates operational F-16 HUDs by providing equivalent eye distance and instantaneous, total fields-of-view.
