Rockwell Collins designs, develops, and manufactures Head-Up Display (HUD) optical assemblies for airborne, military operations, and simulation training applications. We produce full Head-Up Display systems and their optical subsystems. Over the years, thousands of HUDs have been produced for the F/A-18, AH-1S Cobra, AH-1W Cobra, A-10, F-14D/A6F, F-14A and the JAS-39.

Figure 1 below shows an older HUD and a newer model that has been substantially reduced in both size and weight. Figure 2 shows components of several HUDs produced by Rockwell Collins.
