Optical Subassemblies for Aircraft Countermeasures
Rockwell Collins designs and manufactures optical subsystems for aircraft countermeasures in support of major defense contractors. These optical subsystems implement materials and manufacturing technologies in the UV, laser, and IR spectral regions.
These countermeasure systems detect, track, and disable incoming missiles in order to protect the host aircraft.
