This head down display is a rear projection information system that displays essential flight information. Rockwell Collins is currently in development of a head down display for Lockheed Martin. This high resolution, full color simulated display will be placed on flight control panels, replacing obsolete CRTs. The pilot has control over the information displayed, easily flipping through different "windows" of information.
