Rockwell Collins signs preferred supplier agreement with Air France, KLM

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (May 24, 2006) - Rockwell Collins has extended its current Preferred Supplier Agreement (PSA) with Air France through 2010, and has signed a new five year PSA with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines are subsidiaries of Air France-KLM.

Under the terms of the PSA agreements, both Air France and KLM will purchase Rockwell Collins' communication, navigation and surveillance avionics for their forward fit aircraft and retrofit activities. The Air France agreement also covers data link avionics, while a separate KLM agreement covers MultiScan weather radar on KLM's Boeing 777 aircraft.

"It is gratifying to continue building our strong relationships with Air France and KLM by providing the highest level of avionics products and services," said Kelly Ortberg, vice president and general manager of Air Transport Systems for Rockwell Collins.

"Air France is pleased to continue its long and strong partnership with Rockwell Collins, a leading provider of avionics for commercial air transport," said Jean-Claude Cathelineau, corporate purchasing vice president, Air France. "Through this agreement, Air France's main goal is to reduce total cost of ownership while improving performance and reliability through a continuous improvement program, and we expect Rockwell Collins to meet all of our objectives."

"This agreement is the next step in the long-lasting KLM Royal Dutch Airlines- Rockwell Collins relationship. It contributes to the business goals of KLM to have avionics equipment in excellent operational and commercial condition," stated Ton Veltman, vice president, Strategic Purchasing, KLM Engineering and Maintenance. "In addition, this agreement emphasizes the joint Air France - KLM procurement effort."

"This second PSA renewal with Air France proves that both companies have mutually benefited from the initial execution of agreement, which started in 1996. We look forward to the same type of success and cooperation with KLM," said Thierry Tosi, senior director, Airline Sales for Rockwell Collins.
