Raytheon selects Rockwell Collins Airshow 21 for the Hawker 800XP

LAS VEGAS (October 11, 2004) - Rockwell Collins’ Airshow 21 advanced cabin electronics system has been selected by Raytheon for installation on the Hawker 800XP business aircraft.

At the heart of the Airshow 21 system for the Hawker 800XP is an architecture that provides high quality operation and seamless integration of cabin amenities – from information and entertainment sources to cabin light and environmental controls. The system features modular controls for reduced load wiring and builds on Rockwell Collins’ highly successful line of cabin management products by offering an expanded suite of user amenities while retaining the core technologies that have proven successful throughout the industry.

The Airshow 21 system for the Hawker 800XP features a new interface available in a 3.8-inch touch screen as well as a touch screen remote. The elegant, yet durable color switch panels also feature removable bezels for ease of installation and maintenance.

The system offers a state-of-the-art, 15-inch bulkhead monitor to provide passengers with access to a variety of entertainment and information options including moving maps and Airshow Network programming.  The system also provides passengers with entertainment options from digital DVD and CD sources.

“The Airshow 21 system provides Raytheon with the flexibility to accommodate a variety of cabin configurations while offering more efficient installation,” said Denny Helgeson, vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins. “The system provides a significant advancement in cabin functionality for this class of aircraft.”
