Rockwell Collins avionics chosen for three Nippon Cargo Airlines aircraft
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (July 26, 2004) - Nippon Cargo Airlines/All Nippon Airways has selected Rockwell Collins to provide avionics for three new Boeing 747-400F aircraft.
Deliveries are scheduled for 2005 and 2006.
Rockwell Collins’ avionics package includes HFS-900D HFDL systems and the VHF-920 VHF Data Radio with CMU-900 Data Link.
The HFS-900D provides the air transport industry with a low-cost, long-range data link system for fleets operating in oceanic,
polar and remote land areas.
As the newest member of the Collins Series 900 line of avionics, the CMU-900 is the most sophisticated data link system in
the industry. Its new digital technology offers faster integrated communication management, flexibility and growth.
Other Collins equipment chosen for the Nippon Cargo Airlines aircraft includes the 900 Series sensors, TCAS, Mode-S Transceiver
and SAT-906 SATCOM systems.
