Rockwell Collins selected to supply avionics for new ANA Boeing aircraft
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (October 22, 2003) - Rockwell Collins has been selected to provide avionics on All Nippon Airways’ six new Boeing 777 and three new 767 aircraft.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2004.
Among the products selected by ANA for both aircraft types is the Collins GLU-920 Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR), an integrated
unit that provides the aircraft’s primary position, velocity and time reference, and enables precision landing capability.
Other equipment chosen by ANA for both aircraft types includes the Collins VHF-920 Very High Frequency Transceiver, ADF-900
Automatic Direction Finder, DME-900 Distance Measuring Equipment, HFS-900 High Frequency Communication System, CPL-920D Coupling
Unit, LRA-900 Low-Range Radio Altimeter and the VOR-900 VHF Omnidirectional Range receiver.
ANA’s Boeing 777 aircraft also includes the Collins TTR-921 TCAS II Receiver/Transmitter and the TPR-901 Mode S Transponder.
Additional equipment selected for the 767 aircraft includes the PAU-700 Passenger Address Unit, CMU-900 Communications Management
Unit, APM-900 Aircraft Personality Module and the SAT‑906 Satellite Communications System.
