Mahoney to lead Rockwell Collins' Commercial Systems sales, marketing and support

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (June 15, 2009) - Rockwell Collins has named Colin Mahoney as Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Support for its Commercial Systems business unit.

"Colin's broad range of sales and marketing experience in Rockwell Collins' locations around the globe, along with his solid customer relationships, make him an ideal candidate to lead our Commercial Systems team," said Kelly Ortberg, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Commercial Systems at Rockwell Collins. "As we continue to increase the breadth of our offerings for business, regional airline, and commercial air transport customers, his role in managing our sales, marketing and support operations will be critically important to the company."

Mahoney has 22 years of service with Rockwell Collins. His most recent assignment was Senior Director, Business and Regional Systems Sales in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He also has held positions at Rockwell Collins' United Kingdom and Singapore facilities in various business development and operations functions for Rockwell Collins' Services business unit. He holds an MBA degree from The University of Iowa and currently serves on the board for the Cedar Rapids Area Visitors and Convention Bureau.
