Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 IDS STC for Falcon 50 available to dealers
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (September 10, 2007) - Rockwell Collins' Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the installation of its Pro Line 21 Integrated Display System (IDS)
on Dassault Falcon 50 aircraft is now available to dealers.
"By making the Pro Line 21 IDS STC available to our entire dealer network, more Falcon 50 operators will have access to a
modern flight deck that will enhance their aircraft value and accommodate future aviation requirements," said Denny Helgeson,
vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins.
The STC offering for the Falcon 50 is part of a broader program to make more STC's available to dealers, ultimately lowering
operators' installation costs. Other Pro Line 21 IDS STC's owned by Rockwell Collins include the Piaggio P-180 and Hawker
800A. Pending STC's include the Hawker Beechcraft King Air 200 and King Air C90.
Pro Line 21 IDS offers an LCD display upgrade program to existing flight decks without the full expense normally associated
with major retrofits. The system integrates next-generation liquid crystal displays and superior graphics technology with
existing Traffic Alert Collision Avoidance Systems, Terrain Awareness Warning System, communication and flight management
systems. More information on Pro Line 21 IDS is available at www.rockwellcollins.com/IDS.
