Bombardier Learjet 60XR to feature Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21

ORLANDO (November 09, 2005) - Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics will be featured on the new Bombardier Learjet 60XR* business jet, scheduled to begin deliveries in the first quarter of 2007.

"Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 will provide the next generation of system integration to the Learjet 60XR with significantly enhanced situational awareness to operators as well as aircraft benefits such as reduced size, weight and power consumption," said Denny Helgeson,
vice-president and general manager, Rockwell Collins business and regional systems.

Rockwell Collins' Pro Line 21 avionics system integrates flight information into intuitive, easy-to-interpret menu formats. The Pro Line 21 integrated avionics package for the Learjet 60XR includes four 8-inch x 10-inch LCD displays. Other Rockwell Collins content includes the Pro Line 21 Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) radios; dual FMS-5000 flight management systems, solid state weather radar; and Rockwell Collins Integrated Flight Information Systems (IFIS). The advanced features of Rockwell Collins IFIS include electronic charts included in the baseline aircraft, with optional graphical weather and enhanced maps overlays.  A second IFIS system is also available as optional equipment to enable paperless operations.
