Hellenic Air Force selects Rockwell Collins personnel locator system for helicopters
FARNBOROUGH (July 18, 2004) - The Hellenic Air Force has selected the Rockwell Collins RSC-125G Personnel Locator System for installation on its 10 Super
Puma helicopters. TEOTEC is the prime contractor for the program.
The RSC-125G is a position reporting and communication system designed for Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) missions. The
system is fully interoperable with General Dynamics’ CSAR radios, including the new PRC-112G, as well as with conventional
CSAR beacons, providing users with the situational awareness necessary to complete difficult CSAR missions.
The RSC-125G provides accurate localization of the downed crew and supports two-way secure text messaging through low probability
of interception (LPI) and low probability of detection features.
Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) is a leader in the design, production and support of communications and aviation electronics
solutions for government and commercial customers worldwide. Additional company information is available at www.rockwellcollins.com.
