Rockwell Collins Aviation Services awarded three-year contract from CAE

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (December 22, 2003) - Rockwell Collins Aviation Service (CAS) has entered into a three-year agreement with CAE to provide component repairs, as well as rentals and exchanges, for CAE’s worldwide fleet of simulators. As part of the agreement, Intertrade, a Rockwell Collins company, will be the preferred provider for aftermarket equipment and spares support.

Designed to support CAE’s global operations, this agreement includes all aspects of maintaining Collins avionics on CAE simulators, and will provide guaranteed turnaround times and decreased administration. The agreement includes component repairs, reliability upgrades, and access to the global Collins Rental-Exchange Program to cover all simulator platforms. Staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the rental-exchange program provides industry leading support customers around the globe.

CAS’ global network of more than 60 locations provides repair and overhaul of avionics equipment for commercial, business, corporate and military operations. Additional logistics capabilities include on-board services, service parts, training services, technical information services and technical services.
