Mesaba signs service agreement with Rockwell Collins Aviation Services
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (November 05, 2003) - Mesaba Airlines, a Northwest Airlink affiliate, selected Rockwell Collins Aviation Services (CAS) to provide service and support
for Collins avionics on its fleet of 80 Saab 340 aircraft.
Under a five-year, Dispatch PlusSM agreement, CAS will provide Mesaba with avionics inventory that is pre-positioned at multiple service locations. The Dispatch
Plus program provides Mesaba with the ability to accurately manage its available seat mile cost by providing asset inventory
and component repairs, including Collins reliability service bulletins, in a manageable rate per hour in one consolidated
monthly invoice.
CAS’ global network of more than 60 locations provides repair and overhaul of avionics equipment for commercial, business,
corporate and military operations. Additional logistics capabilities include on-board services, service parts, training services,
technical information services and technical services.
