Kaiser Electronics Receives F-22 Raptor Award of Distinction
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (June 25, 2001) - Kaiser Electronics, a Rockwell Collins Company, has been awarded the F-22 Raptor Award of Distinction by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
Company (LM Aero) for its outstanding performance on the F-22 program. This is the second consecutive year Kaiser Electronics
has been recognized as an outstanding supplier to LM Aero.
Upon presenting the award to Kaiser Electronics, Bob Rearden, Lockheed Martin vice president and general manager for the F-22
program, stated, "Kaiser Electronics is being recognized once again for its continued commitment to the F-22 program’s success."
Last year, Kaiser Electronics received the F-22 Raptor Award of Excellence.
Kaiser Electronics produces the F-22 head down displays including the up front display and the primary and secondary multifunction
displays. The existing active matrix liquid crystal display primary multifunction display is being replaced with Kaiser’s
new projection primary multifunction display. This display is a smart 8 x 8-inch high performance rear projection display
using reflective micro liquid crystal devices.
Kaiser Electronics, located in San Jose, California, was acquired by Rockwell Collins in December 2000. It is an industry
