Rockwell Collins Elects Newest Board Member
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (September 19, 2001) - Rockwell Collins’ Board of Directors, at its September 12th meeting, elected General Michael P.C. Carns, USAF, Ret., as its sixth board member.
General Carns, 64, is vice chairman and chief operating officer of PrivaSource Inc., a Boston-based software firm providing
data products and services to the healthcare industry. He served as vice chief of staff, U.S. Air Force and director of the
Joint Staff, Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Gulf War and the Panama Invasion.
General Carns is a director of DynCorp. Inc., and Engineered Support Systems, Inc., a member of the Department of Defense
Science Board and past president and executive director of the Center for International Political Economy.
