Kaiser Electronics Delivers First HUD Cameras for F-15E

SAN JOSE, Calif. (November 08, 2001) - Kaiser Electronics, a Rockwell Collins company, has delivered its first Head Up Display Camera (HUDC) to Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WRALC) for the U.S. Air Force F-15E.

The HUDC is used to record what the pilot sees for documentation of mission objectives, mission debriefs and training.

The camera will replace the monochrome camera currently used in the USAF F-15E aircraft. Currently, Kaiser Electronics is scheduled to deliver 150 cameras for existing aircraft to WRALC and 13 for new production HUD’s to Boeing.
