Rockwell Collins Aviation Services Signs American Eagle to Dispatch PlusSM Contract

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 13, 2002) - Rockwell Collins Aviation Services (CAS) has signed a Dispatch Plus ^SM contract with American Eagle Airlines, Inc., the regional airline affiliate of American Airlines. The contract provides service and support for Collins avionics on American Eagle's fleet of Bombardier Regional Jets. American Eagle has firm orders for 25 CRJ-700 aircraft with options for an additional 25 aircraft.

Under the ten-year agreement, Collins Aviation Services will provide American Eagle with avionics inventory positioned at multiple locations. The Dispatch Plus program provides ongoing component maintenance, component reliability improvement, a single point of contact, and one monthly invoice.

Collins Aviation Services' global network of more than 60 locations provides repair and overhaul of avionics equipment for commercial, business and military operators. CAS capabilities include on-board services, service parts, training services, technical information services, and technical services.
