Rockwell Collins Names Dennis Helgeson Vice President and General Manager of Business and Regional Systems

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (June 21, 2002) - Rockwell Collins (NYSE:COL), a global leader in aviation electronics and communications, has appointed D.W. (Dennis) Helgeson as vice president and general manager of Business and Regional Systems for Commercial Systems.

In his new role, Helgeson will provide leadership for the company's Business and Regional Systems segment which produces aviation electronics and communications for business aviation and regional airline markets.

A 27-year employee, Helgeson most recently served as vice president, Business Development for Government Systems. Previously, he held senior management positions in business development and marketing. Helgeson holds an MBA from the University of Iowa as well as undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering and computer science.
