Rockwell Collins Honored by Defense Supply Center Richmond
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (July 11, 2002) - Rockwell Collins (NYSE:COL), a global leader in aviation electronics and communications, has been honored by the Defense Supply
Center Richmond as one of the United States government's best suppliers at the recent Automated Best Value System award ceremony.
The gold award was presented by the commander of the supply center, Air Force Brig. General James P. Totsch and accepted by
David Williams, Dallas Product Support Manager, and Greg Grimshaw, Collins Aviation Services Dallas Finance Manager, on behalf
of the Rockwell Collins facility in Richardson, Texas.
Firms that qualify as Automated Best Value System medalists have met stringent quality and delivery requirements established
by the Defense Logistics Agency. Rockwell Collins supplies communications and aviation electronics to the Department of Defense
and other government agencies.
The supply center, located in Richmond, Va., purchases nearly 900,000 items used by the military and other government agencies.
The value of the products and services it provides to its customers exceeds $2 billion annually.
