Traditional year-end celebration in Richardson a success
Rockwell Collins employees in Richardson, Texas, have been closing out each fiscal year with an annual Operations Year-End Luncheon since 1983. And this year was no different.
More than 200 employees gathered recently for a potluck meal prepared by their colleagues and served by members of the senior leadership team, including Kit Miller, director of Manufacturing Operations in Richardson.
"It's always a great turnout," said Production Manager James Lane. "We really dominate the cafeteria that day."
According to Lane, the event has grown tremendously over the years. "It began as a small chicken dinner and has since become a much larger tradition - one we plan to continue," he concluded.
