IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING NAVIGATION DATABASE UPDATES

Effective November 2009 (Cycle 0912) Rockwell Collins is consolidating the PCD and CPAS load set process into one format (an executable with a “-USB” extension.) For more detail concerning the time table of this consolidation process, please read Navigation Database Load Set Changes. This consolidation, in no way, affects the quality of the data but requires a change in the way data is loaded using the PCD-3000 and CPAS-3000 software. For detailed information on using the -USB file to load your PCD or CPAS software, please refer to Database Download Instructions. Questions? Rockwell Collins AC20-153 LOA Type 2 (DO-200A Compliance)

Rockwell Collins is the holder of a Type 2 FAA Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to include Jeppesen and Lufthansa data. This means that the FAA has determined that Rockwell Collins, Inc. complies with AC 20-153 and RTCA/DO-200A with regards to the processing of data.
Per AC 90-100A, the navigation database should be obtained from a database supplier holding an FAA LOA in accordance with AC20-153. This LOA provides recognition of a data supplier's compliance with the data quality, integrity, and quality management practices of RTCA DO-200A, Standards for Processing Aeronautical Data.

CPAS-3000 Version 2.7 (CPN 810-0032-004)

A product upgrade of the CPAS-3000 program is now available. V2.7 is a product upgrade that is compatible with both Windows XP and Vista operating systems. For a complete list of features and capabilities of V2.7, refer to Information Document 0123-08. This software will be provided free of charge to existing users but it is not a required upgrade. If you would like to order the upgrade, please contact either Jan at (319) 295-8258 or Tammy at (319) 295-2823. The current version of CPAS continues to provide the same functionality that CPAS has always provided. |

FMS & FSU technical support is provided for the Business and Regional (BRS) line of Flight Management Systems and File Server Units. Currently, this includes the FMS 850, 3000, 4200, 5000, 6000, 6100 and the FSU 5010 systems. On the FMS support page are links to relevant Operator Bulletins and Info Docs, which can be downloaded as PDF files. |
