PIPELINE — BRITE FIELD TERMINAL WITH REACHBACK Key Features/User Benefits
Overview
Pipeline provides a two-way worldwide wideband (6-23 Mbps) wireless
communications and situation awareness system that solves the critical operational
requirement of secure reach back for users operating without access to the
SIPRNET or JWICS.
The embedded BRITE software empowers the operator with a low bandwidth
capability to reach back, pull and receive National Reconnaissance Satellite
Imagery and other intelligence products in near real time; and to graphically
display the imagery in windows, or overlaid on maps, with other geospatial
intelligence information including theater airborne reconnaissance imagery,
real-time SIGINT and Blue Force Tracking data. The Pipeline system consists of a small, light-weight, fully integrated
communications module and a BRITE software package deployed on the user’s
PC laptop. Features Secure, worldwide wireless two way Communications Link 6-23 Mbps receive, low bandwidth reachback Receives Unclass & Classified Data Receives Unclass GBS Video, CNN, FOX, etc. User friendly, automatic operations Lightweight, Small footprint
BENEFITS Operator can reach back to world-wide ops centers while remaining
undetected. Minimal power and extremely difficult to detect Allows operator to send critical data during combat operations Transported in two cases

Overview
Spearhead Reach Back is a low probability of intercept (LPI), low probability
of detection (LPD), wireless reach back communications and situation awareness
system that solves the critical operational requirement of secure reach back
for M22 users operating without access to the SIPRNET or JWICS.
The embedded BRITE software empowers the operator with a low bandwidth
capability to reach back, pull and receive National Reconnaissance Satellite
Imagery in near real time; and to graphically display the imagery in windows,
or overlaid on maps, with other geospatial intelligence information including
theater airborne reconnaissance imagery, real time SIGINT and Blue Force Tracking
data. A BRITE/Spearhead Reachback system provides a worldwide wireless dissemination
capability. It utilizes M22 satellite downlink at 128 Kbps so there are no
satellite costs. Features Secure, wireless reach back Utilizes Spearhead SATOCM Link-128 Kbps Satellite Bandwidth is GFE (No Cost) User friendly automatic operations Lightweight, Small footprint Benefits Operator can reach back to world-wide ops centers while remaining
undetected. Minimal power and extremely difficult to detect Allows operator to send critical data during combat operations Carried in rucksack with LSR equipment Reach Back Communications Module LPI/LPD transmission waveform Worldwide transmission coverage Internal GPS Receive Module Omni-Directional antenna requires no pointing or tracking Automatically calculates AZ/EL Look Angels for Satellite Coverage 2.5 Pound,11"x11" rugged packaging Brite Capabilities Graphically displays National Image collection notifications
