EagleEye is a PC-based reach back, smart push-pull FalconView plug-in
software that gives deployed users the ability to exploit high resolution
national reconnaissance satellite and theater airborne imagery within minutes
of collection using the widely used FalconView mission planning and situational
awareness program.
EagleEye empowers an operator, while using their native FalconView application,
to command a remote imagery server to automatically disseminate (push) to
him, notifications (footprints) of the current imagery collected in the area.
The imagery footprints are overlaid on any of the FalconView map displays.
Just through the use of a mouse, the user can then graphically select an
area within the footprint of an image of interest and command the system to
reach back to the server and pull a high resolution chip of imagery from the image
of interest. The server automatically extracts, and pushes the chip to the
user at a security level providing the broadest distribution and over network
or satellite communications. The chip is delivered to the user in a standard
NGA NITF format, and can be displayed on a map with other intelligence information.
