Auto Throttle and Manual Throttle control
Two segregated lever control systems, which are independently
servo controlled
Two main Throttle levers, each with Thrust Reverse operation
providing manual means for pilot control
A Thrust Reverse deployed solenoid lock/release mechanism
for each lever
Redundant RVDT signal provides electrical signals to the aircraft
FADEC
Throttle lever clutches provide pilot feel friction and prevents
inadvertent lever motion
Motor clutch allows the pilot to override the auto-throttle
and protects drive train mechanism in case of a lever jam
Each motor/gear head assembly positions the levers during
AT mode
Full autothrottle capability with resident control software
certified to RTCA/DO-178B requirements
A Signal Conversion Unit (SCU) provides ARINC 429 interface
with the aircraft Data Concentration Unit (DCU) for input and output communications
Integrated The Motor Control Units (MCU) control both motor
speed and direction based on the SCU commands
A Takeoff/Go-Around (TOGA) switch is located on each throttle
knob
AT Engage/Disengage switches and AT Disconnect switches are
mounted on each lever
Two T/R Stow/Deploy switches are integrated per lever
The thrust reverse solenoid lock mechanism prevents the thrust
reverse lever from advancing into the T/R range until the solenoid is energized
Illuminated top panel for function definition and indication
Top mounted LRU with quick connect attachment points for easy
installation
