OVERVIEW
The Rockwell Collins HGA-2100B is designed to the latest industry standard
& optimized for SwiftBroadband operations. The ARINC 781 compliance builds
upon a simple & proven installation. The HGA-2100B is ideal for installations
seeking a compact system and provides cost effective solution for an antenna
selection with the lowest drag/weight ratio, to address safety services and
high speed data.
DESCRIPTION
An antenna solution is required to complete the SATCOM system and depending
on the services required, the HGA-2100B will provide full coverage (not including
polar routes) for Aero-H/H+ services over Inmarsat-3 satellites, and full
coverage (not including polar routes) when logged onto Inmarsat-4 satellites
for SwiftBroadband services.
Upon Installation, the HGA-2100B facilitates multiple channels of Aero-H/H+
& SwiftBroadband services depending on which avionics transceiver it is
integrated with.
OPERATION AND PERFORMANCE
The HGA-2100B operates with any of the Inmarsat-3 & 4 constellation
of geosynchronous communications satellites.
