OVERVIEW
The Ground Support Equipment GSE-A380 is an application builder used
to develop or modify an AOC-A380 application for Airbus A380 aircraft. It
allows a user to run and evaluate the actual AOC-A380 application in an emulated
environment. GSE-A380 eliminates the need to utilize the aircraft as a test
platform.
DESCRIPTION
Rockwell Collins Data Link AOC development and test tools are specifically
designed to provide the user with a low-cost set of tools for creating, modifying
and testing Airline Operational Control (AOC) applications.
GSE-380 tool is composed of four modules:
ACT (AOC Customization Tool) to customize the AOC-A380 Database
AVT (AOC Verification and Validation Tool):
Provides a simulated environment to validate a customized
AOC-A380 (Emulation of the A380 configuration)
Run and evaluate the AOC-380 application
Representative of the On-board segment (NSS + Avionics)
Representative of the Ground segment (ACARS Ground Centers)
AMG (AOC Media Generator):
Builds an AOC database package
Input for external load builder tool
ADG (AOC Documentation Generator)
Generates documentation relative to the customized AOC in
various formats (PDF, HTML.)
Generates documentation for training
The configuration database manages AOC database history. The GSE-A380
uses a graphical user interface. The Rockwell Collins engineering staff uses
the GSE-A380 for the creation and modification of AOC-A380 applications for
numerous customers.
